I then removed the residue and buffed with microfiber cloth. Highly polished aluminum is the most reflective substance on earth. I shined up my set of machined aluminum wheels (no clear coat) with Flitz metal polish and Buff Ball. Adhesives bond well to the oxide layer however the oxide layer isn’t bonded well to the aluminum. For whatever reason the protection seems to break down on the wheels MUCH sooner than it does on the painted panels.īefore the wheels were blacked I even went so far as to treat my drivers side with Rejex and my passenger side with MSW. While it does make them look nice I find that they just don't hold up very long. I have used both MSW and Buttery on all different wheel finishes Adam. I've got a question, has anyone tried our MSW as a sealant on the wheels, or paint, and what has been your experience?
